This department helps students acquire knowledge for having physical strength and to have scientific skills which are the base of a healthy and happy life for human beings to nurture human resources who can apply what they learn to actual education. We aim to nurture competent leaders who contribute to individual satisfaction, unification of the nation, and the promotion of Korea on the international stage through elite-oriented sports.
Educational Goals
This department nurtures qualified human resources who study the physical and scientific value and roles of physical education in multi-variate industrial society. The students can have the superior performance capabilities of athletes based on scientific knowledge, and an improved quality of life by acquiring achievement, stability, and self-realization through exercise and sporting activities, and contribute to academic study in physical education and society with a good personality, cooperation, and ethical competitiveness.
